The Seaside Inn and Cottages are located on a 20-acre oceanfront peninsula at the head of the Kennebunk River directly on Kennebunk Beach. Owned and operated by the same family for 12 generations (since 1667), on your first visit you will know you have discovered a truly special place.

The Seaside is comprised of three lodging options for your overnight pleasure. The 22 unit Oceanfront Inn, located directly on our own private sand beach, offers a fabulous getaway or vacation retreat and is open year round. An extended Continental Breakfast in the 1850 Boathouse Room is included for all guests of the Inn. The Inn is smoke free.

We also have ten spacious oceanfront and riverfront Seaside Cottages ranging from One to Four Bedrooms in size. Each fully-equipped Seaside Cottage has either an ocean view, harbor view or both! The Cottages are open seasonally (approximately May 1 thru October 31). Cottages are available for weekly and monthly rentals.

Plus, there is The Dunes, a year round two-bedroom beach house directly on the beach with 2.5 baths. This beachfront home has a working fireplace, cable TV, and pull in garage. Private stairs directly to beach, backyard fenced in for pets or children. Full kitchen and much more.

Want to get married in our spectacular oceanfront location? Our Innkeeper Ken Mason is a Notary, which in  Maine means he is a Justice of the Peace! Ken is happy to perform small civil services (up to about 20 ppl) for Inn guests and your friends can stay with us too!
